About Pot Luck

We are both 2nd year students at the University of Edinburgh. We are competing in this race for a variety of reasons. Firstly, we would like to raise money and awareness for a charity that is close to both of our hearts, Alzheimer's Society; we both have grandparents who have suffered with this disease and want to support any initiative that is combatting this terrible disease. Secondly, we are both very adventurous and like putting ourselves out of our comfort zones. Finally, Amsterdam is a city full of amazing culture and we both want te opportunity to visit it again.

ESCA is led by a student fundraising group who go by the name Edinburgh RAG. They put on numerous events throughout the year including a hitch hike race to Paris and the Meadows Marathon raising money for a wide range of charities.
