4 countries & a giant waterfall in Africa you say?
What could possibly go wrong?
Yes the Pride (or is that a Detention?) of Truants climb aboard their trusty wheels of steel again and pray that can outrun at least one other person should a rogue lion or cheetah make themselves known to us as we taste the heat, dust and sweat of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia & Zimbabwe.
Driven on as usual by (fear of wild animals!) the desire to better the lives of children and people less fortunate than ourselves we’re riding for Nordoff & Robbins, Childline, Teenage Cancer Trust & Save The Children.
I’m doing so with medically proven ‘knackered knees’ after the HMT ride last summer so it’s going to be painful on top of the dangers listed above – so yes, you really should support me if you’re the friend/colleague/ contact I hope you are!!
