This year I wanted to find a new personal challenge…to go out of my comfort zone of just running and learn some new skills! So here it is…over the past 10 weeks I have been learning to swim, bike and run culminating in my first (quite possibly my last?!) mini triathlon. Thanks to the amazing support of the triathlon training team I think I am just about ready to give it a go! My overall aim is to finish the course in one piece and enjoy myself while I’m at it! As well as the personal challenge aspect the events itself is also raising money for a great local mental health organisation, Jersey Recovery College, and I would love to do my bit to help them as well.
