Dear Friends,
This year I’m aiming to run 1000km on behalf of the Heavy Metal Truants and the Truants Foundation making it a year long perseverance challenge in 2021 to finish before Dec 31st.
In solidarity with my other Heavy Metal Truant team-mates who will be cycling, running and walking a 12 day event challenge I will be running 90 kilometres over the next 12 days to get me closer to my 1000 km target.
Once again my fundraising will benefit 4 children’s charities: Save The Children, Teenage Cancer Trust, ChildLine/NSPCC and Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy. All incredible charities reducing suffering and improving the lives of children and young people in need.
In the last 2 years, due to Covid restrictions these children’s charities have lost over 75% of their income through not being able to put on fundraising events. They need all the help we can give.
For those who want to donate the link is here: https://sportsgiving.co.uk/sponsorship/entry/454751.
Thank you,
Will

**I will be running but on some days there will also be some walking!
