Each year the trustees choose 3 main charities and an average about 6 more known as Potters who receive lesser amounts than the mains. The distribution is for projects and the mains are normally 1 each of elderly/health, Children/sport and environment/animals. Since inception over £2,4m has been raised withe appropriately 23,000 walkers and over 100 local charities benefiting. All the money raised is redistributed to the designated charities with the costs being funded by the sponsors, currently TMF Group
2022 Charties are:
Main: JSPCA, Age Concern, Centre Point
Potters: Durrell, National Park, Freedom Church, Millis, Jersey Trees for Life and Autism Jersey
